Relación espacial y temporal entre el crecimiento radial de Pinus pinea L. y factores climáticos

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta algunos análisis dendrocronológicos y endroclimátologicos efectuados sobre 6 poblaciones de Pinus pinea L. distribuidas a lo largo de una transecta latitudinal en las costas de centro Italia. Se analizó un periodo común (1949-2003) para investigar las señales comunes a las poblaciones. Las relaciones con los factores climáticos se evidenciaron a través del cálculo de correlaciones simples, por el ancho de anillo y las dos partes que lo componen, o sea la madera temprana y la madera tardía. Se calculó el Análisis de Componentes Principales (ACP) y se calcularon las correlaciones con las cronologías construidas con las primeras componentes. Los análisis temporales han sido efectuado a través del calculo del Índice de Área Basal (BA), para minimizar la influencia del año previo el crecimiento sobre el año corriente. BA ha sido utilizada también para evidenciar las posibles relaciones con la Oscilación de Atlántico Norte (NAO) y el índice de estrés hídrico de Palmer (PDSI) a baja frecuencia, para obtener un resultado mas completo.
