L’articolo si basa sulla commemorazione dei cinquanta anni della morte di Luigi Einaudi, Presidente della Repubblica italiana e uno dei principali economisti del ‘900. This article focuses on the commemoration of Luigi Einaudi – President of the Italian Republic and one of the country’s foremost economists from the 1900s – on the fiftieth anniversary of his death. The article describes Einaudi’s theories on the relationship between market and state, as well as his positions regarding national and European federalism, and highlights how his political, social and economic vision remains valid for Italy and for Europe today.
