Kavafis e la poesia italiana

Abstract

La fortuna italiana di Kavafis è proprio ad Alessandria che ha origine, nel gruppo dei letterati di "Grammata", loro punto di riferimento. Così si incontrarono Kavafis e Ungaretti ma anche Enrico Pea e Filippo Tommaso Marinetti. L'articolo cerca di illustrare l'importanza e il significato che la poesia di Kavafis ebbe per molti poeti italiani (Ungaretti, Montale, Moravia, Carlo Bo, Alfonso Gatto e altri), individuando per ciascuno i punti di contatto e di confronto che li legano al poeta d'Alessandria.
