Abstract

Il volume si pone come un utile ed innovativo strumento nell'ambito della rappresentazione. E' la risposta alla riflessione che oggi i software liberi sono in grado di sostituire completamente i più diffusi e costosi software commerciali per disegnare. La selezione di software proposti tiene conto dell'organizzazione del lavoro in uno studio professionale, consentendo di mantenere i formati dei file generati e le procedure operative, quali: rappresentare un progetto in 2D e 3D; realizzare un rendering; eseguire animazioni; effettuare operazioni di fotoritocco sulle immagini; preparare presentazioni “spettacolari”; impostare il lavoro d'ufficio. Le informazioni ed i dati contenunti sono il risultato di un prezioso lavoro di ricerca e, soprattutto, di “utilizzo e verifica sul campo”, utile a tutti i progettisti per: avere subito una descrizione delle funzionalità dei singoli “software liberi”; sapere come si usano; scegliere le soluzioni che meglio si addicono alle proprie esigenze lavorative.
