Frontiere del rilievo

Abstract

This volume is dedicated to the latest survey techniques instrumental with a wealth of examples and in-depth technical aspects. But, even more intensely, this volume is dedicated to a new conception of the relief, intended as an experimental dual process: on the one hand to face pure documentation and looking for an accuracy mensoria that the operator sees aloof from the problems of interpretation, from 'other addressed to the analysis as a reconstruction project and the laws that created the form. The book contains contributions from eminent scholars and young researchers, who have shared the recent experiments conducted at the research on the importance of the Colosseum: Marco Gaiani, Marcello Balzani, Charles English, for the three-dimensional scanning, Nicola Santopuoli and Leonardo Seca for the measurement instrumental color, with and without contact
