Abstract

Il volume I PCTO come dispositivo per lo sviluppo di risorse personali e il contrasto alla dispersione presenta i risultati del progetto di ricerca PRIN 2022 (codice 20224984HS CUP/CUP Master: B53D23019220006), dedicato all'analisi sistematica dei Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e per l'Orientamento nel sistema scolastico italiano. Il testo esplora il potenziale dei PCTO come strumenti per la crescita personale degli studenti e per la prevenzione della dispersione scolastica. Attraverso una metodologia mista, il progetto indaga tre dimensioni chiave - curriculare, esperienziale e orientativa - integrando analisi documentali, studi di caso, ricerca-formazione e indagini retrospettive. La ricerca propone inoltre strumenti operativi, tra cui la piattaforma PCTOedu.it e Linee Guida per l'autovalutazione e il miglioramento continuo, offrendo un contributo concreto a scuole, docenti e policy makers. Questo volume si configura come un punto di riferimento per chi intende comprendere e valorizzare il ruolo dei PCTO nella costruzione di una scuola più equa, inclusiva e capace di promuovere il benessere e le competenze trasversali degli studenti della scuola secondaria di secondo grado.
