Abstract

Il restauro di Villa Rossi a Ivrea, curato da Enrico Giacopelli e dal suo studio torinese G Studio, rappresenta un intervento di valorizzazione del patrimonio olivettiano nel contesto della città industriale moderna riconosciuta dall’UNESCO. Realizzata nel 1961 per dirigenti Olivetti, la villa si distingue per elementi innovativi rispetto al tardo Razionalismo, come il tetto piano, i frangisole e i rivestimenti in grès policromo. L’intervento ha perseguito la conservazione dell’autenticità materiale integrandola con le esigenze contemporanee di comfort e sostenibilità. I lavori si sono concentrati sulle facciate, sugli elementi metallici e sulla riqualificazione energetica, fino al raggiungimento della classe B. Nel presente articolo lo sguardo è su un restauro che traduce la memoria moderna in un equilibrio tra conservazione, innovazione tecnica e sensibilità storica.
