The proposed essay falls within the studies and researches concerning exchanges between matter-energy-information for the control of the urban microclimate of the historic and consolidated city. In dealing with this sector the choice of data to systematize is extremely important in order to return a mapping that is functional for the construction of urban regeneration scenarios capable of implementing actions in the urban outdoor spaces to mitigate, adapt and counteract climate change. Therefore, the essay suggests a critical reinterpretation on how to assume the study parameters to take into consideration for the definition of a methodological matrix for the formulation of different scenarios. This tool serves to choose which solution to test in different contexts taking into account material and immaterial components, consolidated performance demands and community services articulated on the specific needs that, from time to time, characterize the historic and consolidated fabric of cities.
