Abstract

Contribuire a formare un’opinione pubblica che difenda i diritti dei diseredati, individui e popoli interi, è l’ambizione del “Faro di Roma”, quotidiano on line il cui nome si riferisce al Faro del Gianicolo, monumento donato dagli italiani d’Argentina e che sorge nel luogo degli scontri per la difesa della Repubblica Romana del 1849, e che è in continuità ideale di lotta con quella di Francesco per la riforma della Chiesa e la liberazione dei popoli. Raccontare, quindi, i fatti da un punto di vista preciso, quello di Papa Francesco, il vescovo di Roma chiamato nel 2013 quasi dalla fine del mondo, come ha detto lui stesso presentandosi dalla Loggia di San Pietro. Bergoglio ha trasmesso a Faro di Roma il sogno della "patria grande" immaginata da Simon Bolivar e che trova una parziale realizzazione nell’Alba, l’alleanza fondata insieme da Hugo Chávez e Fidel Castro. Un’ideale che in Italia ha un grande organizzatore e sostenitore nel professor Luciano Vasapollo, tra i fondatori della Rete di intellettuali in difesa dell’umanità, collaboratore delle istituzioni rivoluzionarie di Cuba e Venezuela e che ha avuto il grande onore di frequentare ed essere vicino ad entrambi i Comandanti.
