Abstract

Questo contributo illustra il risultato di una ricerca sul tema "Materia-linguaggio architettonico- colore". Lo studio parte da alcune considerazioni generali sul rapporto tra colore e materiali costruttivi, colore e linguaggio architettonico, colore e conteso urbano per poi riferirsi ad un caso concreto: il teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, un esempio che offre spunti di riflessione sul ruolo delle cromie degli edifici storici nell'ambito della dialettica tra memoria e valenze architettoniche.
