Il contributo affronta il tema della validità diagnostica e descrittiva dei questionari della famiglia MMPI nei contesti di applicazione forensi. Sono confrontate le scale di validità del MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF e del MMPI-A, suddividendo le stesse in stili di risposta. È affrontato il tema della modalità di discriminazione tra simulazione, dissimulazione e autenticità del soggetto. Sono inoltre delineati gli sviluppi futuri dell’interpretazione dei questionari in ambito forense.
The paper deals with the diagnostic and descriptive validity of MMPI family questionnaires in the forensic field. The validity scales of the MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, and MMPI-A, are compared, grouping the same in response styles. The issue of how to discriminate between simulation, concealment and authenticity of the subject is addressed. The future development of the interpretation of the questionnaires in the forensic field are also discussed.
