Using MMPI-2 in Forensic Assessment - Applicazioni forensi del MMPI-2

Abstract

The paper deals with the diagnostic and descriptive validity of MMPI family questionnaires in the forensic field. The validity scales of the MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, and MMPI-A, are compared, grouping the same in response styles. The issue of how to discriminate between simulation, concealment and authenticity of the subject is addressed. The future development of the interpretation of the questionnaires in the forensic field are also discussed.
