Con la crescente influenza dei partiti della destra radicale, le loro ideologie appaiono sempre più diffuse e normalizzate. Il lavoro prende le mosse da ricerche che incrociano la comunicazione politica, il ruolo delle ideologie e le questioni di genere per aprire ad una riflessione sul modo in cui le gender issues, oggi, rappresentino un campo privilegiato per la legittimazione, la tenuta del consenso e l'apertura a nuovi bacini di elettorato. By adapting traits from the ideology of the right-wing (often post-fascist) into a globalized context, they put themselves forward as nativists, sovereignists, authoritarians and defenders of traditions. The ideologies of these political formations have also included gender issues within them, and the complex and articulated use of these issues is the subject of this paper.
