Abstract

n this work we report the first case of Human Monocytic Ehrlichiosis (HME) in Italy. In November 2010 a 15-year- old girl was admitted to the a U.O.C. Genetic and Pediatric Immunology, Pediatrics Science Department, University of Messina, Sicily, Italy, for lymphadenopathy, headache, myalgia, existing rush , abdominal pain and conjunctivitis.
