Il saggio propone un approccio nuovo all’idea di critica in pedagogia, capace di evitare sia i facili entusiasmi, sia i sospetti che abitualmente questa idea tende a suscitare. L’autore prende in considerazione la questione epistemologica della teoria pedagogica in quanto teoria-per-la-prassi e, riconoscendo come appropriata e confacente al genere della razionalità pratica la nozione kantiana di critica, perviene a tracciare un modello generale di critica dell’agire educativo.
