Abstract

Nelle operazioni di rilievo con laser scanner terrestre spesso si utilizza una procedura di controllo dei target mediante posizionamento topografico. L’adozione di una tale metodologia discende evidentemente da una riconosciuta maggiore affidabilità di quest’ultimo rispetto all’acquisizione dei punti doppi con il laser scanner. Ciò è certamente corrispondente al vero se il rilievo topografico è di alta precisione e condotto pertanto secondo uno schema di rete. Anche adottando il classico procedimento celerimetrico è però possibile, entro certi limiti, conseguire un grado di precisione tale da giustificare l’utilizzo delle coordinate così determinate come elementi di controllo della posizione dei target. Operare in questi termini può tornare utile in tutti quei casi in cui, pur non avendo l’esigenza di conseguire risultati particolarmente elevati in termini di precisione (per cui non sarebbe giustificabile lo sviluppo di una rete), non si voglia comunque rinunciare ad una procedura di controllo. Nella presente nota si riferisce di uno studio tendente a verificare la correttezza di tale impostazione.
