Standard values of some haematic parameters (glucose, tot. cholesterol, phospholipids, triglycerides, NEFA, Total protein, free-cholesterol) were given for the Muscovy drake after sexual maturity. Triglycerides and free-cholesterol levels showed no significant differences. Winter values of glucose were significantly lower than the ones registered in the other seasons, while tot. cholesterol showed the highest levels only in winter. Haematic contents of NEFA and tot. protein presented significant differences between seasons with the highest values in summer. In spring the maximum level of phospholipids was observed.
