Investigation on A.T.A.C. Combustion in Two-Stroke Gasoline Engine

Abstract

The paper deals with experimental activity concerning an unconventional combustion system, called A.T.A.C, for two-stroke, gasoline engines. A.T.A.C. primes fresh gas combustion by means of residual gas energy and improves combustion stability at light loads. A few of the several results collected are shown and discussed.
