Abstract

A vitória completa da vontade de partilhar sobre a de dissimular, a sensação de protecção e, ao mesmo tempo, de não encontrar quaisquer obstáculos, tem algo de liberatorio. Ar no ar, luz teria sido a definição da Wright. São estas arquitecturas transparentes, luminosas, sinceras, contrariando as que fizeram da pesada densidade o meio-termo entre interior e exterior, e onde o vidro - incorruptível, indestrutível, inalterável no tempo, representante evidente da "frágil resistência", continua a existir sem impôr concretamente a sua plasticidade.

La definitiva victoria del deseo de apertura sobre el de protección, la sensación de estar resguardado, pero aún así sin obstáculos, tiene un no sé qué de liberatorio. "Aire en el aire, luz en la luz", habría dicho Wright. So estas arquitectura nítidas, limpias, sinceras, en contraposición con aquellas que han hecho del grosor mural el nexo entre interior y exterior, y donde el cristal - incorruptible, inatacable, inalterable en el tiempo, oxímoron por antonomasia de la "frágil dureza" – sigue existiendo sin impover visualmente su materialidad.
