Pioneering results obtained at University of Pisa related to the analyses of the Three Mile Island (TMI-Unit-1) Benchmark involving the coupling between thermal-hydraulics and 3-D neutron physics codes (see previous research products), were submitted to the attention of the scientific community. In this case one junior researcher of University of Pisa was invited at Texas A&M university: the paper deals with new analyses (new code versions) of the Benchmark (phase-1 of the) even with the aim to get a deep review and endorsement of results by other scientists in the area (noticeably, Prof. Y. Hassan in this case).
