Abstract

L’ambiente abitativo deve soddisfare non solo le necessità primarie dell’abitare, ma anche le aspettative di miglioramento della vita e delle relazioni sociali e lavorative delle persone. La necessità di un ambiente abitativo che risponda alle esigenze degli utenti con le loro diverse abilità, al di fuori delle standardizzazioni, è sempre più sentita, in quanto autonomia, indipendenza e benessere risultano dalla reale usabilità e adattabilità degli spazi. Il progetto per migliorare l’inclusività dello spazio abitativo e favorire la riabilitazione delle utenze fragili dovrà caratterizzarsi come un processo interdisciplinare in cui l’integrazione degli apporti specialistici conduce alla customizzazione adattiva di soluzioni spaziali e tecnologiche che evolvono con il mutare di esigenze, capacità funzionali e abilità delle persone.
