Abstract

Il volume è composto di un'ampio excursus ("L'interpretazione del testo poetico contemporaneo" (pp. 2-74). sulle teorie sulla poesia e dello studio della poesia moderna e contemporanea (da Nietzsche, Heidegger, Gadamer, Benjamin, Adorno, Stevenson, Jakobson, Lotman, Pagnini, Frye, García Berrio, Genette, Goodman, Fish), trattando problematiche quali: la poesia come genere, la poesia come forma di comunicazione,l'atto ermenutico inteso come ricostruzione della Intentio aucoris, lectoris o operis. Seguono sette capitoli dedicati all'analisi di testi di poeti britannici (T. Hughes, A. Henri, etc.) o australiani (P. Porter), pp. 75-228.
