Mas este lugar, sintomaticamente baptizado Arca, incita à aventura de se prolongar para o mar aberto, desafiando os ventos, as correntes et as tempestades. Uma escultura, uma espécie de quilha, que atrai as atenções para o lugar: una lâmina de aço inoxidável que se transforma num banco de madeira de teca, um sitio para pausa e conversa nas noites quentes de verão. O projecto de decoração de interiores fica constantemente a meio caminho entre o design de Pulitzer Finalli, de grandes interior como o Victoria (1931), o Andrea Doria desenhado por Gio Ponti, e o conceito aerodinâmico americano.

The lovely thing about the sea is seeing it, feeling it, breathing it. But this place, symptomatically named Ark, stirs the adventure of stretching leaning out towards the open sea, defying the winds, the currents and the storms. A steel sculpture, a kind of fin which draws attention to the place: a stainless steel blade which transforms itself in a teak wood bench, that allows stop and conversation in the hot summer nights. The project of internal design lies constantly midway between Pulitzer Finali’s designs for the great liners such as the VIctoria or the Andrea Doria designed by Gio Ponti, and the american streamline concept.
