Recent studies have shown how the daylighting of the indoors is able to positively influence life quality, to improve the indoor comfort level and to raise the productivity at work places. In recent papers the Authors have carried out several extensive daylighting investigations using an advanced software tool such as ADELINE. In particular in [X] the use of peculiar inner screens allowing to achieve high-level visual comfort conditions limiting direct dazzlement and reducing the illuminance non-uniformity in the reading hall of a new library of the University of Pisa (Italy), has been studied. In this paper, expanding the results discussed in [X], a comprehensive analysis on the use of daylight for the lighting of reading hall of this new library at various design stages is shown.
