Abstract

Considerato uno dei più grandi matematici, autore del Liber Abbaci e noto per la celebre sequenza numerica che porta il suo nome, Fibonacci nacque a Pisa intorno al 1170. Per rendere merito al suo genio, il Comune insieme all’Università (con il Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo, il Museo degli Strumenti di Fisica e il Museo della Grafica del Sistema Museale di Ateneo) e in collaborazione con la Scuola Normale Superiore e la Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, hanno organizzato le Giornate Fibonacci dal 20 al 23 novembre 2020, un programma di quattro giorni dedicati alla sua figura con convegni, incontri, concerti.
