La didattica oltre la didattica

Abstract

Per lungo tempo la didattica è stata da alcuni considerata come una sorta di raccoglitore di ricadute pratiche delle riflessioni teoriche elaborate per lo più all’interno della pedagogia quasi che per insegnare, soprattutto con allievi adolescenti o giovani adulti, fosse necessario possedere solo i contenuti disciplinari, cioè quanto dovrebbe invece rappresentare il requisito minimo, ma non sufficiente. Questo modo di pensare, difficile da estirpare completamente, nonostante le tante riflessioni di segno opposto e ormai condivise tra gli studiosi, si è accompagnato al perpetrarsi di una tacita, invisibile, ma pesante gerarchia tra discipline, in base alla quale si collocano in primo piano le lettere e la matematica, mentre molte delle altre rivestono un ruolo ancillare e alcuni possibili percorsi sono quasi del tutto assenti dalla scuola o presenti in misura modestissima e considerati marginali. Proprio la didattica potrebbe occuparsi della mediazione tra i diversi linguaggi non solo disciplinari, cioè propri delle discipline che vengono insegnate, ma anche di approfondimento teorico rispetto a quelle che hanno come oggetto di riflessione l’essere umano e il dispiegamento delle facoltà che gli sono proprie. Si tratta di discipline diverse le une dalle altre per statuto epistemologico, per modelli e per codici, quali la pedagogia, la biologia, la psicologia, la filosofia, la psicoanalisi, l’antropologia, la sociologia e la storia.
