Waterlines sketchbook. London Festival of Architecture

Abstract

The point of view of the proposal presented to the call of the “2019 London Festival of Architecture” is placed on the water, interpreting the annual theme, “boundaries”, through the vision of the water lines that have allowed to overcome physical and cultural boundaries and strongly influence the architectural identity and urban landscape of London. The project aimes to be a proposal for a workshop where the partecipants are asked to tell their visions of the city's water lines with images, drawings, photographs, videos and digital elaborations. The sketchbook then becomes a common tool for sharing thoughts, visions and notes -graphic and non-graphic - through which to tell their vision of the link between London and the water.
