Abstract

Heinz Wagner, nel 1987, ha progettato uno stelo femorale non cementato da impiegare nelle revisioni d’anca in pazienti con massa ossea insufficiente per una fissazione metafisaria prossimale. L’intervento prevede una particolare via d’accesso chiamata da Wagner transfemoraler Zugang (transfemoralapproach - TFA), che consiste nell’apertura del femore per mezzo di una osteotomia longitudinale.
