This work deals with the cultivation in a tubular photobioreactor of the cyanobacterium Arthrospira platensis by fed-batch pulse-feeding a medium where the traditional nitrogen source (nitrate) was substituted by cheaper sources (ammonium and urea) at increasing inlet concentration.
