Anamorfosi contemporanee per il disegno della città

Abstract

Anamorphosis is a form of perspective representation that runs through the history of architectural representation up to nowadays. Pictorial artifice, secret code, ‘magical artifact’ or scenographical illusion, anamorphosis today seems to Llve a new interest thanks to the works of famous artists but also of anonymous painters who leave their ephemeral marks on the surfaces of the city. This study aims to reconstruct the thread that binds sophisticated works of the ‘600 to contemporary architectural and urban scale anamorphic drawings.
