La dieta mediterranea dal focolare a facebook

Abstract

La dieta mediterranea (bene culturale tutelato ICH) è considerata dalla medicina ufficiale come un protocollo della salute e della longevità [WHO]. Essa prevedeva, tra i vari temi alimentari e rituali, anche la raccolta di verdure campestri da cucinare insieme ad altri ortaggi, a farina di mais, a pesce azzurro e olio d'oliva, dando luogo in Abruzzo ad un piatto completo e salutare detto "pizza con le foglie". Nel corso di qualche decennio, il cambiamento culturale ha obliterato la dieta mediterranea intesa come “alimentazione frugale e autoprodotta”, in favore della standardizzazione del benessere e dell’abbondanza, simbolo e veicolo della cultura di massa. L'articolo presenta i risultati di una ricerca sul terreno (focus group) da cui si evince che la “tradizione gastronomica locale” vive ormai soprattutto nel network digitale come "emozione patrimoniale", perchè nella maggior parte dei casi le giovani donne dell'area oggetto di indagine evitano o ignorano la preparazione dei piatti tipici come la "pizza con le foglie", in quanto il loro immaginario sembra definitivamente colonizzato dalla cultura di massa.
