Abitare in emergenza

Abstract

Il dossier affronta il problema dell'abitare in condizioni di emergenza che assume, oggi, una doppia rilevanza, conseguente all'impossibilita' di distinzione delle forme insediative - tradizionalmente catalogate come stabili - da quelle piu' strettamente riconoscibili per i loro caratteri di temporaneita' e reversibilita'. In entrambe le situazioni, le questioni di natura tecnologica su cui si stanno soffermando ricerche e sperimentazioni progettuali, tendono a far rileggere il tema dell’emergenza come aspetto pervasivo connotante dell’abitare contemporaneo. L’impiego delle unita' abitative rimovibili nei campi di accoglienza post-emergenza sottende cosi' ricadute operative a livello strategico territoriale, ma anche in riferimento agli usi alternativi dello spazio rintracciabili nel settore delle abitazioni stabili, tali da far registrare una stabilizzazione di cio' che e' pensato mutevole e una speculare tendenza a rendere versatile e rimovibile cio' che appartiene all’abitare stabile. Quest'inversione comportamentale non solo delimita, in modo nuovo, il quadro dell’offerta e della domanda di tecnologie per gli interventi in emergenza, ma stabilisce anche possibili condizioni di contaminazione tra le pratiche spontanee di trasformazione dell'habitat e le strategie programmate di costruzione dei nuovi insediamenti.
