Abstract

Come e attraverso quali pratiche di insegnamento i bambini acquisiscono la capacità di leggere e scrivere? La ricerca ha voluto esaminare le caratteristiche e la qualità delle pratiche di un gruppo di docenti di scuola primaria della Provincia autonoma di Trento impegnati nell’educazione linguistica di bambini della prima classe della scuola primaria. Non si tratta semplicemente di capire come i docenti supportano i bambini nell’apprendere a decodificare le parole, ma di dare un quadro della complessità di dimensioni che sono implicate nell’insegnare e nell’imparare a leggere e scrivere (cfr. Lerner, 2001).
