Emozioni di riuscita e prove standardizzate in alunni di scuola primaria: dati preliminari su italiano e matematica

Abstract

All’interno di approcci teorici come il modello di controllo-valore delle emozioni (Pekrun, 2006), le emozioni associate a contesti di apprendimenti, definite emozioni di riuscita, giocano un ruolo come antecedenti rispetto alla prestazione scolastica. Considerando tale cornice teorica, il presente contributo ha l’obiettivo di verificare nel contesto italiano, in riferimento a due discipline scolastiche specifiche (italiano, matematica), tale assunzione, operazionalizzando la prestazione non solo in termini di rendimento ma anche di prestazione a prove standardizzate. Sono coinvolti 846 alunni frequentanti il secondo e il quarto anno di scuola primaria. Le emozioni di riuscita sono valutate tramite uno strumento self-report (Achievement Emotions Questionnaire – Elementary School, AEQ-ES, Lichtenfeld, Pekrun, Stupnisky, Reiss, & Murayama, 2012) in corso di validazione nella lingua italiana. I dati sul rendimento sono comunicati dagli insegnanti. Le prove standardizzate valutano le abilità di lettura (Cornoldi & Colpo, 2011) e di calcolo (Cornoldi et al., 2012). I primi risultati permettono di supportare il modello teorico, e sono discussi alla luce di implicazioni metodologiche e applicative.
