The AcrySof ReSTOR® +2.5 D is a multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) available since 2012. The IOL structure is composed of a monofocal central area that can ensure a high amount of light distributed for distance vision and an apodized diffractive region composed of seven concentric rings. In this chapter, the current literature about IOL and our clinical experience in terms of visual acuity at different distances, quality of vision, and patient’s satisfaction are examined. These results were also compared with those of the previous model AcrySof ReSTOR® +3 D. Given the basic importance of the patients’ selection, these IOLs can be ideal for those who need a good range of vision at intermediate distances without sacrificing quality and quantity of vision for far.
