This work provides a detailed overview of the most salient features of recent uniform contract law conventions, starting from the 1980 Vienna Sales Convention, and highlights the existence of a common core of international commercial law endorsed by the conventions considered. On the basis of the overview carried out, the work concludes that not only would it be possible, but also desirable that domestic courts use an inter-conventional interpretation, whereby notions present in one convention can be interpreted in the light of case-law developed under a different convention.
