Abstract

İslam tarihi boyunca önemli bir evreyi kapsayan Endülüs İslam Tarihi ve Endülüs'ün değerli toprakları bu çalışmayı yapmak için yol gösterici oldu. Bu çalışmada Endülüs toprakları hakkında verilen bilgiler, güvenilir kaynaklardan faydalanarak verilmeye çalışıldı. Bu tez çalışmasında, Geç Orta Çağ'da Seyyah ve Coğrafyacılarının Gözüyle Endülüs incelenmiştir. Endülüs 711 yılında Müslümanların fethettiği bir yerdir. 1492 yılında ise son toprak parçası olan Gırnata'yı kaybedince İber yarımadasındaki İslam hâkimiyeti son bulmuştur. İslam hâkimiyetinde bulunduğu sürece Müslümanlar ve bölgede yaşayan Yahudi ve Hıristiyanlar birlikte güzel bir medeniyet kurmuşlardır. Müslümanlar sekiz asır boyunca Endülüs'ün eğitimi, ziraatı, ticareti ve üretimine katkıları çok miktardadır. Geç Orta Çağ seyyah ve coğrafyacılarının eserlerine göre yapılan bu eserde ulaşılamayan kaynaklardan faydalanılamadı. Ulaşılan kaynaklarda, güvenilir ve doğru bilgiler kullanıldı. Endülüs hakkında genel bilgiler verildi. Coğrafyası, ekonomisi, dini ve şehirleriyle ilgili bilgiler aktarıldı. Bilgilerin doğruluğunu arttırmak için güncel yazılan eserlerden de faydalanıldı.

The Islamic history of al-Andalus, which comprises a crucial phase in the whole Islamic history, and the rich lands of al-Andalus became a source of inspiration fort his study. Based on reliable sources, the present study aims to give solid information about the lands of al-Andalus. Al-Andalus was analyzed with the eye of late medieval itinerants and geographers in this thesis. Al-Andalus is a place which conquered by Muslims in 711. In 1492, the last piece of land; Gırnata was taken from Muslims and Islamic dominance ended in Iberian peninsula. As long as it was dominated by Islam, Muslims established a beatiful civilization with Jews and Chiristians who were ming in the same region. Muslims much contributed education, agriculture, trade and production of al-Andalus. This study was written based on the books of late medieval Age itinerants and geographers. Reliable and precise information was used in the study. General information about Al-Andalus was given. Knowledge was conveyed about its geography, economy, religion and the cities. In order to increase the accuracy of the information, current studies were also used.
