Turismo y fiestas populares en Écija

Abstract

Español: En el presente artículo pretendemos realizar una reflexión sobre la importancia de lo cultural frente al fenómeno turístico. En la contemporaneidad resulta casi impensable hablar de turismo cultural sin unirlo a los bienes culturales, a lo patrimonial, siendo el sector turístico una de las mayores fuerzas económicas que hay que gestionar de forma sostenible. Se pretende relacionar ambos conceptos: turismo y fiestas, teniendo presente una mirada patrimonialista y desde este plantea- miento nos acercamos a la ciudad de Écija como lugar turístico, aludiendo a distintos hitos de sus fiestas populares. Se analiza la imbricación de esas fiestas en el ámbito del turismo y como conforman fuentes de recursos culturales que hacen a una ciudad más dinámica y actualizada. Écija se presenta como una oportunidad cultural y se analizan diferentes aspectos de algunas de sus festividades más interesantes como: Fiesta del Patrón canónigo de Écija, San Pablo; Fiesta del Carnaval; Fiesta de Semana Santa; Fiesta de las Cruces de Mayo y la Feria de Écija. Inglés: In this article we wan W to make a reflection on the importance of culture versus tourism phenomenon. Nowadays it is almost unthinkable to talk about cultural tourism without linking i t to cultural properties, to heritage, being cultural sector one of the largest economic forces to manage on a sustainable way. It aims to link the two concepts: tourism and festivities, keeping in mind apatrimonial look and from that approach we get close to Écija city as a tourist destination, alluding to its popular festivities. We analyze the implications of these festivities in the field of tourismand how the shape cultural resources that make a city dynamic and updated. Écija is presented as a cultural opportunity and we analyze different aspects of some of its most interesting festivitiesas: Fiesta del Patrón canónigo de Écija; San Pablo, Fiesta del Carnaval, Semana Santa, Fiesta de las Cruces de Mayo and Feria de Écija
