Este texto persigue ir más allá del enfoque eurocentrista de la movilidad humana moderna, subyacente a la todavía dominante narrativa sobre la “crisis migratoria”, así como propugnando el “derecho a la inmovilidad”, evaluar la medida y el grado en que las orientaciones, premisas y prácticas comunitarias de gestión migratoria y de asilo son compatibles con los solemnemente proclamados “valores europeos”.
This text seeks to go beyond the Eurocentric approach to modern human mobility, underlying the still dominant narrative on the "migration crisis", as well as advocating the "right to immobility", to assess the extent and degree to which Community guidelines, premises and practices of migration and asylum management are compatible with the solemnly proclaimed "European values".
