Algunos problemas éticos en la actividad financiera

Abstract

Understandable mistrust on the part of citizens in relation to markets and financial institutions should not lose sight of an equally unquestionable fact. Namely, that an agile, efficient and fair financial system is an unequivocal characteristic of the common good; and should be seen as a real condition for economic development and social progress. This text focuses on a taxonomic approach to some of the most recurring ethical problems in the financial activity and institutions through which it is carried out in our advanced economies. This is done by reference to three main areas, substantiated in the financial markets, in the financial services and in the financial management of the companies
