Abstract

The remuneration systems for managers have inefficiencies due to the asymmetry of the information and the difficulty of regulating by contract the wishes and needs of the parties. Property and managers would seek the maximum benefit for both. If they don´t a win to win relationship, the results of the company will be affected. The agency relationship makes them take part from a different perspective of risk and time horizons. Behavioral finances could explain the limiting factors of management remuneration systems due to the effect of cognitive and behavioral factors introduced by both parties.
