Abstract

La Industria 4.0 y el Internet de las Cosas (IoT) son ya una realidad palpable. Cada día, un mayor número de dispositivos están conectados a la red de redes, generando cantidades ingentes de datos. Son tantos estos datos, que los antiguos servidores y la actual «Cloud» se quedarán obsoletos muy pronto al ser insuficiente su capacidad de almacenamiento y procesado. Para solucionar este inconveniente, la computación en la niebla («Fog Computing») se postula como una solución factible.
