Abstract

From the legal-canonical perspective, try to approach to the question of the presence and activity of women today in the life and mission of the Church, whit explicit referente to consecrated women. After centuries of institutionalized discrimination of women in the ecclesial system, the current legislation opens important and novel channels of ecclesial responsability and participation to the women in liturgical-sacramental mater, in the sacred sciences teaching and ecclesiastical office he can carry out. There are still some spaces to conquer in decisión making, in the performance of some ecclesial ministries not only like substitutes in cases of necessity, in the formation of seminarists and in the women contemplative life. It is now the time that these suggestive possibilities of participation in the missión church develop effectively without fear.
