Abstract

Uno de los grandes desafíos que afrontan los gobiernos en la actuali-dad ha sido el surgimiento de diversas organizaciones dispuestas en forma de red, con una gran capacidad resiliente y con estructuras flexibles, que han cuestionado la idea de la rígida jerarquía militar. Por tal motivo, el presente artículo explora los componentes que ha-cen de la red una organización de múltiples nodos conectados, todo ello en el marco de la era de la información. El caso de estudio con-creto será las FARC-EP que con sus más de cincuenta años de histo-ria se ha constituido como una de las guerrillas dispuesta en red, más antiguas del mundo.

One of the greatest challenges facing governments today has been the emergence of organizations arranged in a network with high capacity resilient and flexible structures, which have questioned the idea of a ri-gid military hierarchy. Therefore, this article explores the components that make an organization of multiple network nodes connected, all in the perspective of the information age. The specific case study will be the FARC-EP with its 50 years of history has established as one of the guerrilla with a network structure oldest in world.
