Experiencias de parejas sobre vivir feliz en pareja

Abstract

Objetivo. Este estudio propuso generar una indagación reflexiva grupal para evaluar la cartilla "Vivir feliz en pareja" (Acevedo y Restrepo, 2008), su utilidad para el enriquecimiento de la vida conyugal y su aporte a fin de generar nuevos materiales de apoyo para el trabajo psicoeducativo con parejas. Método. Estudio cualitativo donde participaron voluntariamente 12 parejas, en la adultez media, con educación universitaria y estrato económico medio-alto, que habían hecho parte de la Fase I de la investigación "Parejas satisfechas de larga duración en la ciudad de Cali, Colombia" (Acevedo, Restrepo y Tovar, 2007). Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: la cartilla "Vivir feliz en pareja" (Acevedo y Restrepo, 2008), un cuestionario de evaluación de la misma y una entrevista. Las parejas hicieron lectura de la Cartilla, realizaron los ejercicios, diligenciaron el cuestionario de evaluación diseñado para este estudio, y 10 de ellas participaron en grupos focales, audio grabados y transcritos para posterior análisis cualitativo. Resultados. Las parejas evaluaron positivamente la cartilla y resaltaron los temas de la expresión de afecto, los asuntos financieros y el tiempo libre como fundamentales; dieron importancia a la experiencia de grupo focal para trabajar con parejas, y brindaron sugerencias para procesos de psicoeducación con grupos y para futuras investigaciones. Conclusiones. La Cartilla se valora como un instrumento útil para el enriquecimiento de la vida conyugal, y como insumo para el trabajo reflexivo con grupos de parejas.
