Hz. Muhammad performed many actions as a prophet who has contact with revelation. Some of these acts were related to his duty of prophethood or religious issues, while others were about daily life. These acts of the Prophet and the degree of their bindingness have been discussed by scholars. Different attitudes towards the actions of the Prophet caused the emergence of various understandings about what and how should be exemplary throughout the historical process. In this study, based on some sources of Mu tezili scholars, approaches to the acts of Prophet have been presented. In order to understand the similar or different aspects by Sunni sect scholars about the Prophet's acts, literature review about the classical and modern periods is included in the study. Attention was drawn to the different concepts used in order to express the exemplariness of the Prophet by the scholars, and their relationship wity the "teesi" commonly used by Mu tezili scholars is also emphasized.
