Abstract

Muhammed b. Hanefiyye, Ali b. Ebî Tâlib’in, Benî Hanîfe kabilesine mensup eşi Havle bint Cafer elHanefiyye’den oğludur. Hasan ve Hüseyin’den sonra yaş itibariyle onun en büyük erkek çocuğudur. Hz. Ömer’in hilafeti sırasında 16/637 yılında doğmuş ve Emevî halifesi Abdülmelik b. Mervân zamanında 81/700 tarihinde vefat etmiştir. Etkisi günümüze kadar devam eden olayların meydana geldiği bir dönemde yaşamıştır. Cemel, Sıffin ve Nehrevân savaşlarında aktif olarak yer almıştır. Kerbela Vakasında başta kardeşi Hüseyin b. Ali olmak üzere çok sayıda yakınını kaybetti. Bu çalışmada Muhammed b. Hanefiyye’nin söz konusu dönemde cereyan eden olaylarda müdahil olan Ehl-i Beyt fertleriyle olan münasebetleri incelenecektir. Hz. Ali, Hz. Hasan, Hz. Hüseyin ve onların çocuklarıyla ilişkileri esas alınarak Ehl-i Beytin bir bütün olarak o dönemde nasıl bir görüntü çizmiş oldukları tespit edilecektir.

Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiya was the son of Ali b. Abi Tâlib and Khawlah bnt. Ja’far al-Hanafiya, who was a member of Banu Hanifa tribe. He was the oldest son after Hassan and Hussein. He was born in 16/637 during the caliphate of Umar and died in 81/700, the time of Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik b. Marwan. He lived in an era whose events have been effective till today. He actively participated in Battles of Jamal, Siffin and Nahrawan. He lost his brother Hussein b. Ali and many relatives in Karbala massacre.In this study, the relations between Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiya and Ahl al-Bayt who involved in incidents of the period will be examined. On the basis of his close proximity to Ali, Hassan, Hussein and their children during that period, the image of Ahl al-Bayt as a whole will be investigated
