Abstract

In this study, since 1980, with the dominant neo-liberal policies implemented on the basis of urban transformation projects in the emerging urban plane Encounters of different, Denizli is discussed in the context of urban poverty in particular. As you know, neo-liberal policies, both globally as well as in urban areas in Turkey, site selection behavior, their way of life, sharp inequalities in the housing market, has made clear the differences between classes. Urban plane changes in the country to the level of development, according to local dynamics have revealed different results. Developing countries located in Turkey in the nation-state in the process of problems, the process had left the missing areas, economic and political life spent in the conversion of the neo-liberal policies of the joints, social background the most disadvantaged groups of the poor on the devastating effects have been observed. Our research centers located in Denizli Karsiyaka, Anafartalar, Meska, Yesilyurt, Sevindik, İlbadı, Dokuzkavaklar, Esentepe neighborhoods were applied. Migration and rapid population growth, urbanization and urban poverty in urban and urban integration process in the context of significant problems are revealed. The aim of our study, migration in the process of certain neighborhoods of the city and settled in the neighborhood of the sample group of urban poverty and related integration of lived experience, demographic, socio-economic variables and conceptual categories to be determined via the new results to emerge. Bu çalışmada 1980'den itibaren egemen olan neo-liberal politikalar temelinde uygulanan kentsel dönüşüm projeleriyle kentsel düzlemde ortaya çıkan farklılaşmalar, Denizli özelinde kentsel yoksulluk bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. Bilindiği gibi, neo-liberal politikalar, gerek global alanda gerekse Türkiye'de kentsel alanda yer seçim davranışlarında, yaşam biçimlerinde, konut piyasasında eşitsizlikleri keskinleştirmiş, sınıflar arasındaki farklılıkları belirginleştirmiştir. Kentsel düzlemde yaşanan değişimler, ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeylerine, yerel dinamiklerine göre farklı sonuçlar ortaya koymuştur. Gelişmekte olan ülkeler arasında yer alan Türkiye'de ulus-devletleşme sürecinde yaşanan sorunların, bu sürecin eksik bıraktığı alanların, ekonomik ve siyasi hayatta geçirdiği dönüşümlerin neo-liberal politikalara eklemlenmesi, toplumsal zeminde en çok dezavantajlı gruplardan olan yoksullar üzerinde yıkıcı etkileri gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmamız, Denizli merkezinde yer alan Karşıyaka, Anafartalar, Meska, Yeşilyurt, Sevindik, İlbadı, Dokuzkavaklar, Esentepe mahallelerinde uygulanmıştır. Göç ve hızlı nüfus artışı, kentleşme ve kentlileşme sürecinde kentsel yoksulluk ve kentsel bütünleşme bağlamlarında önemli sorunlar ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Araştırmamızın amacı, göç sürecinde kentin belirli mahalle ve semtlerine yerleşen örneklem grubunun yoksulluk ve kentsel bütünleşme ile ilgili yaşadıkları deneyimlerini demografik, sosyo-ekonomik değişkenler ve kavramsal kategoriler aracılığıyla tespit etmek ve yeni sonuçlar ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmamızın verileri, örneklem grubuna uygulanan anket ve görüşme tekniklerine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmamızda Denizli merkezinde yaşayan 200 hane ile görüşülmüştür.
