Çocuk zehirlenme olgularının retrospektif değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Temmuz 1996-Haziran 1997 tarihleri arasında hastanemizde entoksikasyon tanısı alan 37 hasta geriye dönük olarak değerlendirildi. Zehirlenme insidansı %2 bulundu. Zehirlenmeler en çok 1-4 yaş grubunda (%47.2) gözlendi. Erkek/kız oranı 1.3 idi. Zehirlenmeye neden olan maddeler sıklıkla ilaçlardı (n=16, %19.6). İki olgu özkıyım amacıyla diğerleri ise kaza sonucu oluşan zehirlenmelerdi. Bu çalışma ile bölgemizde çocukluk çağında akut zehirlenme nedenlerini incelemek ve dikkat çekmek istedik.
