Ülkelerarası büyüme farklılıklarının açıklanmasında kurumların önemi: panel veri analizi

Abstract

In this study, we have attempted to determine the impacts of institutions and their structures on economic growth using panel data method for the period 2003- 2014 for 107 countries. We have used variables of economic freedom, political rights and civil liberties, and the variables of control of corruption, political stability, rule of law and accountability, which represent the institutional structure to explain growth in the analysis. The findings reveal that there is a positive relationship between institutional structure and economic growth and that the countries exhibit economic development in connection with institutional structures.
