Abstract

It is important to determine the trends of meteorological data. Estimates, plans and projects fort he future will be made by evaluating the data. Trend analysis methods are divided into non-parametric tests and parametric tests. Nonparametric tests are the Mann Kendall test, Sen’s T test, Spearman’s Rho test, Şen test. The most commonly used tests of these is the Mann Kendall test. The Parameric test is regression analysis. In this study, Trend analysis using Mann Kendall, Sen’s T test, Spearman’s Rho test and Regression analysis has been done average monthly maximum temperature, minimum monthly temperature, monthly average temperature, monthly total precipitation, monthly total average open surface evaporation relative humidity data between 1978-2018 years in Denizli. The results of nonparametric trend analysis methods showed a statistically significant decrease in relative humidity trends across the study area and a significant increase in mean temperature trends. Trends were’nt detected in evaporation and precipitation data.
